Portland built early momentum with a 12-point run in the 1st quarter and led 50-43 at halftime. The Fire maintained a 1-point edge after 3 quarters, 69-68. Phoenix mounted a comeback from an 11-point deficit. Mercury's 8-point run in the 3rd quarter kept them close, and they outscored Portland 26-22 in the 4th to steal the win. Engstler led the Fire with 21 points. Ciezki paced Phoenix with 22 points.
